Investments in basic health: a village clinic with one doctor and nurse for 5000 residents, free anti-malarial bed nets, treatment for HIV/Aids opportunistic infections, skilled birth attendants and sex and reproductive health services.

Investments in education: Meals for all children in primary school, expanded vocational training  - including in farming techniques, basic infrastructure maintenance (eg diesel generator, water harvesting, borehole select construction).

Power, transport and communications services: power line or diesel generators, for lights, schools, pumps for safe well water, milling, food processing, refrigeration, household batteries

Safe drinking water and sanitation: for the safety and convenience of the entire village and saving countless hours of toil each day fetching water
